Today, I have a review of one of my latest buys, Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Pacific Blue.This isn't a new color and I honestly don't know why I'd never noticed it before - it's stunning!
The bright, radiant blue shade practically jumped out at me from the Rite Aid shelf and I just knew I had to buy it. When I made this swatch, I hadn't yet done a full mani using this color but finally got around to it this past weekend.
I think it leans more towards Royal blue than Cobalt. It's very vivid and almost bordering on neon in certain lighting. It's definitely an attention-grabber - I received no less than three compliments on my nails the first time I wore it out.
The formula is near-perfect; I was able to obtain full coverage in two coats and my mani lasted about three days (with mah yooj topcoat, Seche Vite) before I noticed any tip wear. Even then, the wear I noticed was very slight - like, the teensiest, tiniest chip ever and only on one nail. For real.
This is an awesome color for summer with an unbeatable formula and at less than five bucks, you can't beat the price! I'm so glad I picked this one up!
