Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains - Pt. 2

Today I'll be reviewing the last of my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. I purchased Rendezvous and Charm a month or so ago during a 40% off sale at Rite Aid.

I honestly cant get enough of these things. They're just so quick and easy - just a few swipes and I'm set with color and shine for hours, then a stain is left behind until I get a chance to touch up.

Rendezvous is a sheer orange with gold micro-shimmer, giving it depth and warmth, which I like.

Rendezvous

I like to pair this with a bronze-y gold eye, using UD's Half-Baked or Smog. Add some bronzer and you've got a golden goddess look that will put all them basic broads to shame this summer!

See Charm after the cut!

Charm, a sheer, semi-milky nude with a touch of shimmer.

Charm

I should have known better than to buy this. I really had high hopes that it would be a nice creamy nude but since the color is so light to start with, it pales out my lips in an unflattering way. If I would have been able to swatch it first, I would have known it would look like concealer lips. Not my best look.

It would probably be pretty on fairer skins with pink undertones, like blondes or redheads but on me it's just too corpse-like. Meh. This is why I don't wear many nudes.

When I was playing around with these, I made a groundbreaking discovery! I had Charm on my top lip and Rendezvous on my bottom and immediately saw that they complimented each other so I rubbed my lips together and voilĂ ! A Charming Rendezvous!

This swatch is from my inner arm, with Charm on the bottom, Rendezvous on top and then lightly blended together. I apologize this shot is not in direct sunlight like usual. I just couldn't wait for the sun to move into my usual photo-taking spot to take a picture of it!

If these go on sale again soon, I might pick up one or two more. I've had my eyes on Smitten and Crush for a while, so we'll see.

Until next time,
xoxo
J
